Soil Health Cafe Chat: Warren

Returning this spring are SFA's popular Cafe Chats, free events featuring area farmers who are practicing soil health principles like cover crops, more diverse species, reduction in soil disturbance and adding livestock.

During each Cafe Chat, featured producers share their soil health experience, followed by open questions and discussion. SFA Livestock & Grazing Specialist Kent Solberg will discuss soil health at each event, typically alongside area SWCD personnel.

This series includes an event from 8:30 to 11 a.m., Tues., March 5, at the Uptown Cafe, 510 N Main St, Warren and features Lindsay Pease, U. of M. Nutrient Management Specialist; and Naeem Kalwar, NDSU Soil Health Specialist.
