Climate Bites
Description
Join fellow Central Chapter members for Climate Bites, a monthly reading and discussion group focused on key climate issues. On the fourth Monday of each month, starting in May, the group will meet virtually from 7:00-8:30 to discuss the selected topic of vital interest related to the climate. We will gather to discuss, learn, and process these complex topics together. Participants are encouraged to share short topical readings of various mediums--academic studies, journalism, creative responses such as essays, stories, and poetry--for discussion in an open and supportive setting. Climate Bites will allow for collaborative visioning around key climate issues and how we might engage these topics at a local, regional, or national level.
Carbon Sequestration in Soil will be the topic for this meeting. Gregg Sanford (University of Wisconsin Madison) will be the guest presenter. Register to recieve the Zoom link. Find the readings on the Central Chapter webpage. |
