Topics will include safely integrating livestock and manure in produce operations to improve soil health while also reducing potential for contamination. We will also take a deep-dive into packshed design including tips on low-cost hacks and improvements for postharvest handling, including how to build low-cost spray tables, dunk tanks and repurposing equipment safely and effectively to improve product quality and safety.

All participants leave with a food safety kit for packsheds including spray bottles and cleaning brushes.
