Central Farm Tour: The Bluffs Farm, Melrose

Join Central Chapter for a farm tour of healthy soils and a robust, diverse ecosystem in action from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. Fri., Aug. 6, at The Bluffs Farm, ​​35319 315th Ave, Melrose.

The Bluffs farmers Ashley and Ross Uphoff raise Scottish Highland Cattle, Icelandic Sheep, Gloucestershire Old Spots Pigs, turkeys, and chickens using management practices like rotational grazing, no-tillage cropping, increasing pastureland, and utilizing cover crops to help improve the health of their farm and the environment.
