Pasture Productivity Pail Workshop: Living Song Farm
07/28/2021 01:00 PM - 03:00 PM CT
Description
UMN Extension educator Rod Greder and SFA Senior Technical Advisor Kent Solberg will demonstrate the correct use of the tools in the Pasture Productivity Pail (PPP) at a free workshop from 1 to 3 p.m. Wed., July 28, at Living Song Farm, 7616 25th St SW, Howard Lake.
The PPP is a set of tools that can help graziers make informed decisions on pasture management and improvement. Developed with support from a SARE grant, it is modeled after and complements the NRCS Soil Health Bucket. The PPP provides additional information on many above-ground factors that influence pasture productivity. The PPP is mobile, user-friendly, and provides quantifiable measures to use in decision-making.
Free. RSVP required.
