Our speaker will be Megan Heagerty, DVM from Northern Veterinary Services out of St. Croix Falls. Northern Veterinary is a mobile practice serving the farming communities in Northwest Wisconsin and East Central Minnesota. They strive to provide high quality services tailored to your farm. They provide services for livestock exclusively, including dairy and beef cattle, sheep, goats and cervids.

Dr. Megan grew up in St. Francis, MN. She attended the University of Minnesota Twin Cities where she earned both her Bachelor of Science in Animal Science (2018) and her Doctorate in Veterinary Medicine with an emphasis in food animal medicine (2022). Her passion for food animal medicine developed as she worked on farms, including both dairy and swine farms. Through work and internships during veterinary school, she gained experience designing and running research trials. Dr Megan enjoys working with a variety of farm animals and is excited to build connections with farmers.

Dr. Megan will plan on covering parasite management, pre-breeding considerations and try to make a couple interactive cases to go through common problems around time of parturition. Please come with questions for an interactive discussion!
