Cover Crops & Pizza Crusts

Enjoy a meal and conversation with area farmers and your Soil Water Conservation District at the Redwood Falls Pizza Ranch. Lunch is on us!

Kent Solberg will share key considerations and practical tips for successfully implementing cover crops that best fit your operation's goals.

Staff from Redwood and Renville SWCD offices will share an opportunity from the Alliance to Advance Climate-Smart Agriculture, where eligible farmers can earn $100 per acre or animal unit to implement common conservation practices (including cover crops). Applications for this program are open through July 28, 2025.
