Agritourism Farm Tour at Agate Acres

09/23/2025 05:00 PM - 07:00 PM CT

Description

Join Agate Acres and the Lake Superior Sustainable Farming Association for a 2-hour workshop on the growing field of agritourism. We'll explore how farms can create additional income and community connections through events like weddings, workshops, yoga classes, pumpkin patches, and other on‑farm experiences. The evening includes a guided tour of Agate Acres, highlighting sustainable practices and how they’ve built a welcoming space for visitors.
Agate Acres is a small, family-run farm and venue on the North Shore specializing in growing chemical free cut flowers, floral design, and weddings, with a focus on sustainability and community. The workshop takes place Sunday, September 22 at 5 pm, rain or shine.
