Harvest Celebration: Growing Profit & Conservation Together
Description
Join us for a hands-on, farmer-focused workshop celebrating the 2025 growing season and planning for a more profitable 2026. This event brings together local farmers, farm advisors, and practical tools that address real issues to your farms bottom line.
We’ll kick off the day with coffee and conversation about the biggest challenges farmers are facing today, followed by a short overview of the soil health principles and how understanding the “why” can boost your bottom line.
Hear from a farmer panel sharing firsthand experiences using soil improving practices like no-till, cover crops, and livestock integration to increase profitability and resilience. Learn how programs such as Precision Profitability Mapping (PPM) can increase the profitability of each acre and address conservation goals at the same time.
After lunch, connect directly with resource professionals as they outline opportunities and options available to help you take the next step. Weather permitting, we’ll wrap up the day with a farm tour of a nearby operation that is putting these principles into practice.
This relaxed, relationship-driven event is designed by and for farmers. Come for the conversation, leave with ideas and relationships that can make 2026 your most profitable year yet.
